New date spot! My husband and I went on "Treat Yourself Tuesday" for honestly the best deal in Ann Arbor: a NY strip served with two sides, house or caesar salad, & dessert for 30! We were STUFFED and the food was amazing. Everyone here is super friendly and we were seated in one of the cozy booths. Our first kiss almost exactly 5 years ago was actually in the Down Bar which can get kind of wild late at night if you're into that (we are boring and old now so that's not really our vibe anymore).

The Pretzel Bar offers a really cool old time swanky feel. They have tables, secluded booths, and high tops. The food is pretty good. Portions run on the smaller side, but we just got a few appetizers to share. Their drink menu has a lot to offer and they have a full bar so you can still order your favorites

We came here to eat before Michigan vs Michigan State bball. We waited 50min for a table for 9. Super busy but hostess and bartenders were great! We ended up ordering food at the bar and cancelled the table...still had a wonderful experience and the food was great!!! We will be back!

We hosted an amazing 40th birthday party in the Pretzel Bell Captain's Room for 35 guests. We could not have been more pleased. Our bartender, Ella, was top-notch--incredibly friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was delicious and the bar selection was great. Thanks for a memorable night!

Our server recommended amazing options. Cajun chicken pasta was amazing, the honey mustard pretzel croutons on the Cesar salad were a great touch, on the Totchose the tots were nice and crispy and the flavors popped! I tried the fruit punch which also was very good. Had went during happy hour so my drink was 50% off and I noticed they had theme nights on most days.

We hoped to go to the Avalon Cafe (new location) which we love, but the wait was too long and we realized Pretzel Bell next door not only has the same owners but shares it's kitchen with Avalon and we saw things on the menu that we love at Avalon. The food was delicious as expected. Gourmet food in a fun retro atmosphere.

Perfect place for dinner in downtown Ann Arbor! The place is ideally located in the heart of downtown where you have the option to sit both indoor as well as outdoor. They have really good deep dish Detroit style pizzas on the menu and a fine collection of beers! The food and service both are very good! Strongly recommended! They removed the Cauliflower starters from their menu which was a little letdown.

Creative dishes reign supreme here. Ashley Bommer enjoyed the Cajun chicken pasta and highlighted the unique addition of honey mustard pretzel croutons on the Caesar salad. The crunchy tots she mentioned are simply irresistible, perfectly fried to golden-brown perfection, bursting with flavor. Happy hour is also a hit, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to providing value without sacrificing quality.

Even if you find yourself in a bustling crowd, as Jimmie Floyd III did before a Michigan vs. Michigan State basketball game, the staff’s attentiveness ensures a pleasant experience. Whether you choose to dine at the bar or wait for a table, the welcoming nature of Pretzel Bell shines through.
